Like many individual options traders, I found myself spending hours every single weekend updating complex spreadsheets, scraping multiple option chains, and double-checking margin rates manually.
I was spending too much time researching, compiling, and calculating, which often left me fatigued when markets opened on Monday. My execution was less structured, more emotional, and highly inefficient.
The Weekend Project
Over a series of weekends, I built a custom tool to solve my own problem. I wanted a simple engine where I could drag and drop my brokerage statement, instantly extract my stock holdings, and overlay them with premium-generating covered calls, cash-secured puts, and collars without manual calculations.
The software allowed me to analyze complex options payoff structures, view live implied volatility indices, and model my risk curves automatically. The difference was night and day—my time spent on analysis was cut by over 80%, and my execution discipline reached a level I hadn't achieved before.
Going Public
What started as a personal utility became too valuable to keep private. I realized that other retail investors were experiencing the exact same pain points—stuck in manual analysis loop, leaking capital on poor strike selection, and struggling to calculate true return on investment.
