When we first launched Policy Capital Flows, our goal was simple: expose the structural reasons why politicians were deploying capital across Capitol Hill across targeted verticals like Defense and AI.

But as our users started analyzing these delays, we realized the picture was incomplete. Congressional trades are powerful, but they represent only a fraction of market-moving capital. To truly intercept liquidity before it shifts the market, we needed to track the actual titans of industry.

Today, we are thrilled to announce the evolution of this feature into Smart Money.

Why "Smart Money"?

"Policy Capital" was too narrow. It isolated legislative alpha from broader macroeconomic accumulation. By rebranding to Smart Money, we are expanding the scope of our engine to include massive, high-conviction block trades from Institutional Investors alongside Congressional flow.

We have completely rewritten the core engine to seamlessly funnel data from entities like Goldman Sachs, Citadel, BlackRock, and JPMorgan Chase directly into the same real-time feed you use to track senators.

What's New in the Smart Money Dashboard?

1. Institutional Alignment: We now track systematic accumulation and defensive rotations by hedge funds and asset managers.
2. Universal Avatars: The UI has been entirely redesigned. We ripped out flaky image integrations and built a 100% stable, color-coded avatar system (e.g., Deep Navy for Goldman Sachs) so you can instantly recognize institutional flow visually.
3. Live Delta Metrics: For institutional buys, we now track VWAP deltas instead of just post-disclosure alpha, meaning you can see the execution efficiency of block trades.
4. Data Pulled Timestamps: Every time you load the dashboard, you will now see explicit "Data Pulled at HH:MM" signatures verifying the real-time latency of the engine.
